The Mini Main costs $500 and carries a $300,000 guarantee. It also offers five starting flights across August 13, 14 and 15.

That combination matters for three reasons.

First, the buy-in is less than one-third of the Main Event price. Second, the guarantee is already half the size of the Main Event guarantee. Third, five flights give players more flexibility around work, travel and arrival time.

Event #6 is a $400 Monster Stack with a $150,000 guarantee and three starting flights.

The $2,200 High Roller Is the Biggest Buy-In

Event #17 on August 23 is a $2,200 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, the largest direct buy-in on the Atlantic City schedule.

High rollers usually attract smaller fields but stronger average opposition. That changes the value equation.
